Re-catting is a bitch. InkingNColor not art?

I went through my gallery and cleaned up some. Meaning I moved two things into scraps and re-categorized all my older art.

Good news is that I will go through my art storage and find my old LeBlanc concepts and work on them. I will also scan and finish coloring other art for my Star Wars character, Asura, and all her friends.

I am also working with a friend on a concept for an original story.

BTW for Warcraft fans. It's offical, Garona Halforcen is indeed half Draenei! Also, she apparently has a half-human son that she gave to an old Undead Mage. He was apparently born soon after she killed the King of Stormwind and it is hinted that he might be Medivh's son.

There goes my Khadgar and Garona shipping. sadface.

Edit: I just read a journal entry by someone that pissed me off. Inkers and Colorists aren't 'real' artists? Please. Pencilists, I DARE YOU to write your own script, pencil, ink and COLOR a full fucking comic BY YOURSELF and see how it looks!

Stop bitching about inkers and colorists getting OMGMOARATTENTION than you. It's like turning on the Bass of a radio. You're missing all the other good stuff in a song if you focus on ONE AREA.

Pull your heads out of your collective asses and get over it. Egocentric assholes.

yeah, the way they complain they make it sound like coloring and inking is easy, that anyone can do it. They make it sound like its no different than coloring a coloring book.

Exactly. As a person who does all three on an amateur level, I can say it is NOT easy. Given, I do not do whole comics like the pros, but it still sucks.

And the SOB who wrote the journal on here has a COLORIST for a girlfriend. And he is whining. A PRO. Whining like a teenager.

Yeah, really professional.

Oh, no... because pencilists just have the HARDEST job EVER. And Inkers only have to trace what THEY draw and colorists just have to make it all oh-so-pretty.

For fucks sake, I color my work with a MOUSE. Do people have any IDEA how HARD it is with a shitty mouse? Or how long it will take me to get a hand cramp or worse... carpel tunnel?

Do I complain when I don't get enough views of my art? Fuck no. I am content being a nobody. These people do what they love for a living and all they can do is BITCH LIKE ASSHOLES.

Well, the guy who wrote the offensive journal can draw... very well.

But I don't appreciate it when people whine about their job and how their ego isn't being fed when people like me would KILL for a job like theirs.
